We realize that in our current time and society, it is an extraordinarily radical thing to propose that people should not practice birth control. Many people feel that this type of conclusion is hermeneutically unsound, or just plain stupid. Even a close family member has told us that big families are ridiculous and irresponsible.

Many well-researched books have been written about this topic. But to summarize our position, it is probably best to share the story of Lazarus, our fifth son, who is in Heaven now. In a less scholarly but more personal way, it summarizes why we believe what we believe about birth control: Remembering Lazarus.
